Austrailian letter

1.How is Josiah Godber treated by his master? Josiah Godber tells that he is being treated very well by his own master. I think that the master's family treating Josiah Godber good, but i think that it is a little weird, that the master has to read true the letter before they are sending it, to make sure that he don't say something bad.

2.Based on the letter; how do you think the other convicts are treated? In my opinion, i think that it is very individual who they are treating well and who they are treating bad. It depends who
the person are. Someone can live normal and someone has a terrible life.

3.How does Josiah describe the natives, and what does this tell us about his perception of them? Josiah Godber says that he does not feel safe among the natives, but he isn't threatened by his master.

4.Imagine you were a convict and just arrived in Australia. Write a few sentences about what you think your first few days would be like. I thought that the first few days, they would be divided into groups and given a master. I really thought that they would punished me and if this happened i would get really scared. I would been very afraid that i might not get to see any of my friend and family again.

The name Wales is a variation of a word that people used hundreds of years ago. It derives from old German and it means “outsiders” or “foreigner”. Anglo Saxons applied the word to the inhabitants of the United Kingdom. People liked it, and “Wales” became the name of the country. Before the name became “Wales”, they called the country “Cymru”.

A brief history

The history of Wales began when the humans arrived the country thousand years ago. Habitation by modern people started around 9000 years ago, after the last ice age. During the Iron Age, the British language dominated Wales. In year 43, the romans started their conquest of the United Kingdom and their first object was Wales. The romans got control over Britain, but departed from them in the 5th century. The British language and culture got popular, when the romans left. Groups of people formed, and the Welsh became the largest group.  As an own country, it began with a man named Henry VIII's in 1536. Wales was a popular country for lordships and independent kingdoms before it became a part of Britain in 1707.

Today, people believes that Wales has been a popular country with inhabitants since thousands of years BC.

He came as fast as he could, and they did everything to try to save their sun. Scott had epilepsy, and had been ill for a while. In Norway the English language is all around us, and many peoples in Norway uses english words in their daily speeches. I use many english words in my language. One excample of one word I use everyday, is TV.
I use that word in many connections. Other words that's used in the Norwegian language are CD, radio, fuck and snowbord.

In the Norwegian soccer game they uses a lot of English words. Corner and offside is two classic excamples. They are used as fotbal rules.

Many English cursingwords are also in the Norweigans daily speeches. Many teenagers use words like fuck, bitch, hore and idiot. I personally uses many English words in my everyday.

LIFE

What if:
What if god was one of us
What if gay was straight and straight was gay
What if I told you
What if life was just a dream

Who is:
Who is your hero?
Who is you?
Who is your daddy?
Who is the stig?

I have:
I have a dream
I have you
I have nothing
I have a face but no nose, two hands but no toes

Men are:
Men are from Mars, women are from Venus
Men are better than women
Men are objects
Men are like quotes

About myself

Hello.

My name is Linn Kristin Røyrane and I am sixteen years old. I live in Bergen with my family. I was born at Haukeland hospital in 1997. I have one big sister and she is four years older than me. She is studying psychology in Bergen.

On my spare time I like to excersise with my best friend, Ingrid on Spenst, and that is a workout center on Midtun. I also like to hang out with my friends. When i was fourteen years old I used to dance. I danced with my friend Emma, and we danced Hip hop on Nordås. I quit dancing, because I wanted to excercise on Spenst instead.

I have no grandparents. My grandfather died two years ago, and he became 90 years old. He was a fit, old man.

For seven years we had a beautiful cat. Her name was Sofie, and she became thirteen years old. She was the most cuddly cat, that i have ever known. She died in 2009 of liver cancer.

My favorite subject at school are history. I love that subject, because it is incredible exciting.

This is a picture of my lovely parents.

This is my older sister Ingrid Helene, she is 20 years old.

 See you soon :)
